On 7 October 2026, BioSpace reported that Palindrome Pharma, a new pharmaceutical company focused on biosimilar medicines, has launched in Canada.
Co-founded by the former CEO of Apotex, Dr Jeremy Desai (CEO), and Nitin Kaushal (CFO), the company aims to expand access to high-quality biosimilar medicines through its capabilities in regulatory affairs, market access, medical affairs, commercialisation and support programs.
Desai stated, “biosimilars represent an important opportunity for Canada, and we intend to build a company that earns the trust of our partners through quality, reliability and a long-term commitment to the Canadian market.”
Palindrome plans to work with global and Canadian partners to identify and commercialise biosimilar medicines, guided by patient access, quality and reliability, healthcare sustainability and building transparent and enduring partnerships.
