Sarah Ramsey-Caudle is a senior intellectual property lawyer and registered Trans-Tasman Trade Mark Attorney with nearly a decade of experience advising clients on the protection, enforcement and commercialisation of brands in Australia, New Zealand and internationally.

Sarah specialises in trade marks and brand protection, advising on clearance and filing strategies, portfolio management, prosecution, oppositions, non-use proceedings, infringement disputes, enforcement actions, copyright, licensing and intellectual property commercialisation. She regularly manages Australian and international trade mark portfolios and advises on protection and enforcement strategies across multiple jurisdictions.

Having worked with some of the world’s most recognised consumer brands, Sarah has particular expertise in the cosmetics, fashion, retail, food and beverage, and supply chain sectors. She is known for her responsive, commercial and pragmatic approach, delivering clear advice that aligns with her clients’ broader business objectives.

Sarah has experience in contentious matters before the Australian Trade Marks Office and the Federal Court of Australia. Drawing on both her legal and commercial background, she develops practical strategies that help businesses build, protect and maximise the value of their intellectual property assets.

Sarah holds a Master of Intellectual Property Law from the University of Melbourne, a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce (International Business) from the University of Adelaide. She is a member of the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand (IPSANZ).
