Pearce IP’s Founder is Australasian Lawyer’s 2023 Most Influential Lawyer – Changemaker

by | Dec 21, 2023

We are delighted to announce that Pearce IP’s founder and CEO Naomi Pearce has been honoured by Australasian Lawyers as one of Australia’s Most Influential Lawyers in 2023.   Naomi is one of 8 lawyers awarded in the category of “Changemaker”, and is the recipient of this award for the second year in a row.

The Australasian Lawyers Most Influential Lawyers“acknowledges the professionals whose dynamism and capacity to challenge the status quo make a meaningful difference to their clients”.  Recipients of the award in the Category of Changemaker are “lawyers who have been leaders, innovators or catalysts for positive change in any area of the profession”.

Recognised as a Changemaker for the second year in a row, Naomi is one of 8 lawyers across all disciplines, awarded by Australasian Lawyers in this category, and one of 3 women receiving this award.   Naomi is the only IP specialist lawyer included in this list of 8.

Pearce IP’s Deputy CEO and Head of Talent Adele Chadwick says

“For the second year running Naomi has been honoured as one of Australia’s Most Influential Lawyers and a ‘changemaker’ in her chosen profession.  While her team get to experience her leadership every day, which is focused on enabling each and every employee to thrive, Naomi has an innate ability for business, ensuring Pearce IP client needs are considered first and foremost, while building a values-based culture of empowerment, support, encouragement and celebrating each other.  It is both an honour and pleasure to work with Naomi.  Her ability to think strategically and engage with her audience sets her above when it comes to excellence in legal services.”

Dr Chris Vindurampulle, Head of Patent Prosecution says

“The word ‘changemaker’ is such an apt description.  I have seen firsthand the difference in focus and conversation that Naomi brings to the table when discussing legal issues and opportunities with clients.  The same is true of Naomi’s leadership skills and drive, and her ability to motivate Pearce IP’s employees.  A different approach in legal services is what the market is demanding, and Naomi delivers that in spades.  This recognition is well deserved.”
