Naomi Pearce is 2022 Patent Lawyer of the Year (Asia Pacific) at the Women in Business Law Awards

Pearce IP is very proud to announce that  its CEO and Executive Lawyer, Patent Attorney and Trade Mark Attorney Naomi Pearce has been honoured as the 2022 Patent Lawyer of the Year (Asia Pacific) at the Women in Business Law Awards.

The APAC Women in Business Law Awards:

honour women in the forefront of legal work in business law and those firms that have produced initiatives and programmes to support and encourage women and diversity within the industry” and “recognise up and coming women lawyers in their field and champion firms who have encouraged the growth of women talent in their countries and globally.”

Naomi was one of 9 lawyers based throughout the Asia Pacific region on the short list for each of 2022 Patent Lawyer of the Year and 2022 Life Sciences Lawyer of the Year, and the only Australian lawyer on either short list.

Pearce IP was one of the 5 firms shortlisted for the jurisdiction award for Australia, an award which celebrates “law firms that have developed strong innovative practices and projects that highlight gender diversity”.

The APAC Women in Business Law Awards honour “the leading women lawyers throughout the region and celebrate the law firms that have impressive initiatives to promote diversity and women in the legal industry” and recognise “the achievement of women lawyers and the diversity agenda in legal work from firms across the world, celebrating ‘the best of the best’”.
